  3. Make property element references navigable from the inspector

    As an example, it would be useful to be able to navigate by click or double click on the element referenced as the value of source or target within a use case. This should apply, overall, to all properties that reference other elements.

  6. Stop remapping common textfield shortcuts

    The use of CTRL+DEL or CTRL+Cursor keys is implemented in almost any Software for navigating and altering textfields more efficient. Using CTRL+DEL in a textfield should, in my opinion, delete the next word and NOT the element from the model, especially if CTRL+Z doesn't recover all the data afterwards.
    If I'm not working in a texfield I like the feature of deleting the element, but when I'm writing documentation it should do as expected.

  7. support of Cross functional flowcharts

    Flowchart is a basic connectors for representing the call flow. However i see the existing flowchart template is missing the concept of swim lanes.

    Cross functional flowcharts use swim lanes to provide an extra dimension by assigning each process step to a category. Most often the category is a stakeholder (person, role, or department).

  8. Add a Progress Dialog to the list of native dialog types

    I am working on an extension that has some potentially long-running tasks, and would like to be able to display a progress bar to the user while the tasks are running. Ideally, the progress dialog would support the following features:
    (1) ability to update percent complete (if not provided, ability to control and update messaging should suffice)
    (2) ability to set whether or not the user can continue interacting with StarUML while the dialog is open
    (3) ability to control messaging on progress dialog
    (4) ability to update messaging (i.e. current part of task being executed, similar to installation progress)…

  9. Direction of arrowhead

    The direction of the head of arrows is not aligned to the arrowline but to the node points for the line generation. So when the line has suden curve, the arrowhead is seem to be aparted from the arrowline.

  10. Security / access to diagrams

    Hi, I was wondering if there's a way to make a diagram confidential within draw.io? Currently, anyone who would know the diagram's name would be able to access it by creating a copy of that diagram. This might be problematic if we want to map sensitive business processes.

    Even if we secure Confluence's page where the diagram is saved, it is still possible to access the diagram when we add a new draw.io macro on another confluence page and make a search by name when selecting which diagram we'd like to use as a template.

  12. Cropped PDF export

    It would be great if there was an option to export a diagram as a cropped PDF. So instead of only having the option for a fixed size like A4 or Letter, the PDFs dimensions would fit the dimensions of the exported diagram (just like SVG exports fit the dimensions of the exported diagram).

    This feature would be useful for example for including diagrams in LaTeX documents, since PDFs can be included more easily than SVGs.

    Ideally this cropped PDF export feature should be added under "File>Export Diagram As>PDF..." and "File>Export Diagram As>All to PDFs...".

    It would be awesome to…

    Situation: Property editing of diagram elements

    Current behavior: Pressing 'enter' results in saving of property value and closing of edit menu

    Desired behavior: Pressing 'enter' results in adding of the new property. Clicking on some other element, pressing of 'Tab', etc. results in closing of property edit box
