Add image to diagram
Sometimes I need to add a logo to a diagram. Other times there is a project specific image that represents something well. I want to be able to add these images into the diagram or perhaps override the icon in a stereotype.

Requirements Diagram
I think that an easy and useful new feature is include a Requirements Diagram. Currently it's not possible to document the system requirements using the StarUML software. I was using the Enterprise Architect and now I'm looking for other solutions. The possibility to link the user requirements and system requirements with the Use Case is interesting to help to control the whole process.

Enable support for Requirements
It would be nice if StarUML could support modelling of Requirements and Test. I like the approach taken by Visual Paradigmen 11.2(http://www.visual-paradigm.com/features/uml-and-sysml-modeling/) by supporting "SysML requirement diagram". I tried to emulate it in StarUML 1 with an own model but it isn't quite practicable. If this feature would be voted, please take attention of text-wrapping for the elements and give a possibility to define own values (e.g. for risk). If it's not to much, the fields of the requirement-template should be definable by the user.

Default sort order inside of the explorer
Allow to decide the sort order of the elements inside of the explorer.

Fix stereotypes
Setting the stereotype of a class to <<boundary>>, <<entity>>, <<control>>, <<actor>> or any other predefined stereotype should automatically change the display of the class to that of its icon, as well as the icon on the Explorer window to reflect this.
Unfortunatelly, none do it. Actors are only created from the Use Case View but can be used regularly from it. The other mentioned stereotypes even have shortcuts from the class diagram (seek for Robustness at the bottom of Classes) but only a crossed square is shown for its icon.
Plus, it would be great if we could define other…

XMI Im- and Export
For interoperability with other UML modelling tools it would be nice when StarUML understand the XMI Format.
So you can Im- and Export a model as XMI.
Furthermore is the XMI format a good candidate for a version control systems.57 votesXMI extension is now available at Extension Manager. It supports XMI 2.1 and UML 2.0

Zoom window for big diagrams
It would be great if there was a small zoom window showing the whole diagram and the currently visible area. You should be able to drag the visible area around to move to other areas of the diagram without zooming out and in again

Hide visibility legend on attributes of classes and labels on association endpoints
I edit an ISO/IEC standard and I would love to use this tool to generate the UML we use instead of Visio. However our drafting standards require that we omit the visibility legend from attributes and association labels (public, protected, private, package). If there could be a formatting option to hide these from the diagram you would save me a heck of a lot of work as I could generate a lot of the text of the standard from the XMI.
