Support for better layout algorithms using https://github.com/OpenKieler/klayjs
The layout algorithm for the diagrams do not layout the labels and are somewhat bad. Perhaps the use of this library would help the quality of the diagrams.

Ability to import an icon set/font like FontAwesome or an image for use as objects in the editor.
Some things may be better expressed through images or different icons. This may even need the addition of a sort of "sandbox" diagram where anything goes.

Draw lines around elements.
The lines should be smart enough to avoid other elements. When I draw a graph I prefer not to move stuff around just to make it look good.

Limit elements movement
It would be nice to press Shift to limit element movement horizontally or vertically, but not in both directions.

Match Visual Studio C# Stereotypes
It would be nice to be able to round-trip a diagram with VS2013
One of the issues deals with the handling of ClrAttributes in C# stereotypes. You cannot see the properties defined in the C# class in the property grid and the use of a Tag to capture them is 'different' in concept.
Likewise the stereotype name will change for Cx Class rather than C# Class

As, Objective-c is one of the fastest growing language, it would be great if Star UML can support creating class diagram from xcode.proj file

Support Arch Linux Installer
Since your team has added an Ubuntu installer, it would be helpful to support other popular distros that are not directly compatible with the DPKG route.
Please add a PacMan installer for the Arch crowd.
Thanks!

Same height and width
In the Editors > Styles menu there could be added 2 buttons for making selected items of the same type equal in height and width.

Override visibility plus and minus indicator to support Objective C class and instance method
I would like to write Objective C +ClassMethods and +InstanceMethods...
It would be great to override operation name formatting checks :-)1 vote -
Intersecting lines always cause me an issue
I want to suggest two features; First feature is that when multiple classes inherit one class, the generalization lines should join in a single line:
http://service-architecture.static-barryandassociates.com/images/database/class-inheritance.jpgThe second feature is that when two lines intersect, there should be a distinction between them:

Menu popping up unexpectedly
When selecting an alternative in the Editors pane like visibility (for a class) or multiplicity (for a relation), then also the File menu pops up. It doesn't seem to do anything harmful but it is not neat. This happens in the Ubuntu 32 bit version that I'm evaluating. Thanks!

Creating instance of class on top of package should add it as child of package
Class instance isn't added as child of package until it is moved slightly even though it was drawn on top of package

Move items up down in explorer should retain focus
Would be helpful if when moving items up and down in the explorer using the shortcut keys focus should remain on the selected item so that subsequent moves can be achieved without needing to reselect the item again. Can be very laborious on large diagrams.
