  3. Bug: viewport blocked in large diagrams

    It very annoying as I always must work without zoom to see the whole diagram.

    p.s. Why StarUML has no bug tracker?

  4. BUG: Lines with "oblique" style - selection issues

    There is an issue with using "oblique" lines: they are selected when I click on empty space somewhere my diagram. It turns to be a real issue when you edit something from the real world (i.e. big enough).

    My guess is that a line is got selected if I click somewhere inside a rectangle, which can be build with start and end points of the line in its corners.

  6. Option to show the grid in front of the diagram

    It would be nice to have an option/switch/keyboard shortcut to bring the grid in front of all diagram elements. Currently, the alignment and resizing of elements that are inside other elements is hard, because the grid is not visible there - it is hidden behind the containing element.

    DRAKON is an algorithmic visual programming language developed within the Buran space project.

    Please support export of the diagram to the clipboard.
    Currently if I want to copy a diagram to a word document I have to export/save it to a temporary file first, and then re-locate the file in word and open it.

  11. Send the evaluation popup every month

    Hi dear StarUML team, I love this program and I use it for
    my proyects, anyway, I don´t like the evaluation popup appearing
    every single time I start or finish any UML proyect.

    I propose that in the configuration menu, you put an option that remind the user to see this evaluation box every month o every week,
    I know that you want to make users buy some of this asewome
    features but some users doesn´t want to do it...

    a method to shut down this popup

  12. Transform a class diagram to a usecase diagram in both ways

    Hi dear StarUML team, I need class diagrams but
    also I need usecase diagrams, I wonder if any
    could make a extension that could make this.

  13. Property vs. Part visualization in Composite Structure Diagram

    I would love to use the Composite Structure Diagram in my project. However, I need to clearly distinguish non-owned parts, i.e. properies from owned parts of my classes. IMHO the UML2.5 standard clearly states that properties shall be visualized by dashed lines. I really need this feature!

  14. Ability to read descriptions about currently selected toolbox element

    There is a lot of tools in a toolbox for each type of diagram... Some of them are familiar but some of them are - not, so it would be nice to read a small description what exactly the element being added is

  15. Short cuts to open any sub-diagram

    Problem Statement:
    Any entity in a model can be lot of diagrams in it. E.g a use-case realization can have activity diagram, sequence diagram etc. each of these diagram can again have sub-diagrams and so on.

    Now to view the sub-diagrams, we have to right-click -> select in explorer -> then navigate to the corresponding diagram

    when we click on any entity in the UML model, if there is a sub-diagram included previously for it, then it will be good to show that in the short cut menu. IBM Rational provides such a support.

  18. Freely resize without constrained by text width

    Currently, for every object whose name or text content can be displayed (such as Note, Use Case balloon), its size is greatly constrained by text width and word wrapping.

    Also, if the content is a CJK text, even if word wrapping is used, an object can be quite large in width because a CJK text can be hardly wrapped using white-space-based word wrapping.
    For this situation, word wrapping should be performed like "break-all" of CSS "word-break".

  20. Make it availabe on RPM-based systems

    The Linux version of StarUML is currently only a .deb package. You should build it as .rpm as well, to support distributions other than Debian/Ubuntu.
