Fix stereotypes
Setting the stereotype of a class to <<boundary>>, <<entity>>, <<control>>, <<actor>> or any other predefined stereotype should automatically change the display of the class to that of its icon, as well as the icon on the Explorer window to reflect this.
Unfortunatelly, none do it. Actors are only created from the Use Case View but can be used regularly from it. The other mentioned stereotypes even have shortcuts from the class diagram (seek for Robustness at the bottom of Classes) but only a crossed square is shown for its icon.
Plus, it would be great if we could define other stereotypes. The search button for the stereotype field allow to traverse the project but allows to select only an element called UMLClassifier, but there seems to be no place where this can be defined. I'm hoping for iconic support for this too.
Hi,
This feature is now available in V5.
Thanks,

I'd like to add that it would be great to see custom stereotypes and keywords displayed. For example, if I add a stereotype, out of a profile, to an artifact, only <<artifact>> is displayed. Clicking on the name of the artifact displays the added stereotype e.g. <<Script>>SMB

You can add Stereotypes to a "Profile" diagram, and then you can select them.
It would be great if the colour settings of these Stereotypes where copied to the objects that are stereotyped.

I want to use StarUml 2 but this feature is missing, so I still use StarUML 1, please add this feature.

For stereotypes for other meta-classes like "Class" and "Action" it would be nice to colour code actions and classes automatically according to the stereotype applied to them.
It could pick this colour coding up from the definition of the stereotype on the profile diagram they are declared in, copy across the BG Colour, Ink Colour and Border colour on selection.
