StarUML to Atlassian Confluence/JIRA Plugin
Adding support for this application would enable you to generate your StarUML projects as documents within confluence and allow greater collaboration on these diagrams and have them maintained and organised within a document management system.
If you make a change to the model it automatically updates it in confluence when checked in from StarUML.
JIRA tasks can be worked on from within StarUML.

DPI scaling / HiDPI support in Linux
In 2.4 HiDPI support was supposedly added in 2.4 for Mac Retina display and DPI scaling awareness added for Windows but under Linux it seems there is still no DPI size adjustment so the UI all looks tiny on HiDPI displays. Adding proper scaling/DPI adjustment support under Linux would help make StarUML more usable on Linux when using devices like the Chromebook Pixel or Dell XPS 13 as well as 4K monitors.

Node.js
Node.js extension. Does this presently exist? I suspect that developing a Node.js extension for StarUML is straightforward, but I am new to the product.

Punctuation marks (dash, colon, coma, dot) in the name of the elements.
Changing the editor to let punctuation marks to be placed in the name of the elements in a model - for example the name of a use case. To be able to put dash, comma, colon or dot in the name of the elements.

Group/lock relationships together
Would be great if relationship lines could be locked, so that if one attached object is moved the length/orientation of that line remains constant and drags other objects with it.

Better model navigation inside: diagram to a other diagram
Situation:
Currently you can only navigate in the model explorer.
Model it self and documentation.
(OS Version)Impact:
Currently is no intuitive and fast navigation from diagram to diagram possible.
Request:
Provide navigation inside diagrams to the main diagram of a Package.
Or using comment to add a link to a diagram.Ability must be for the Model and the Documentation export.

Use Case Specification
I suggest you add a Use Case Specification, so that inside a Use Case Diagram, you can add the specification for principal and alternate flow and pre/post conditions for each one of the use cases in the Use Case Diagram. It is indeed a very used feature, and is lacking on StarUML 2.

Allow us to enter namespaces (slashes) into class names
Namespacing is integral to design. What's strange, is that when I create a new class on the canvas, I cannot enter slashes. However, I can use the inspector panel on the side to specify a "name" that contains slashes there.
Please let me do it in the first place! ;) It'd be a big timesaver.

Export to PNG format without alpha
Can you please add an option to export to png format with Alpha turned off. This should make background white.

Configurable HTML export
A way to configure which elements to export in export HTML function. Which package or model and which type of element in that package (for example diagram, elements, connections). It would be good, because now it creates hundreds of HTML pages because it exports everyting, for example it exports a HTML page about every single connection.

Activity diagram - Decision has no text
Currently the decision tool/shape in activity diagrams has no label to type in to it. It’s essential it has one. Also, it would be great if this text wrapped nicely to the diamond shape that encloses it.

Performance
StarUML is just really slow for me.
This might come down to using web technologies for the program and me not using my best PC but it's still not slow and I think a computer that can run Photoshop without any hassle should be able to run a UML diagram software.
However, a usable performance would definitely be a killer feature to actually buy StarUML.60 votes -
Resolution settings for PNG or JPEG export
Recently I import diagrams in a LaTeX document as PNG, because the import of vector graphics is tricky. But the resolution is way too low for printed documents, so that I have to export it first to Inkscape as SVG and then convert it to 600 dpi PNG.
It would be great to get asked for the desired resolution on export.33 votes -

To write a documention should be as easy as create it
It's quite easy create a class, operation, atribute or role, but to describe the documentation, you need to access the lateral menu. This is inducing users to avoid to document. It should there a easy way to do it, like a shortcut, or even one of those little icons which you already use for another task.
