Generate documentation as HTML
Would be great if StarUML could generate html documentation with screenshots of the diagrams and text documentation. It's the only thing i miss from visual paradigm, they did it really good there.

Zoom window for big diagrams
It would be great if there was a small zoom window showing the whole diagram and the currently visible area. You should be able to drag the visible area around to move to other areas of the diagram without zooming out and in again

Don't put everything in one line in UMLJ file
While the idea to use a text-based file format to allow easy management via any CVS at hand is a really great idea, it is killed by UMLJ format.
Issue is that diff utils compare per line, and (at least in Mercurial) start to treat UMLJ file as a binary file due to everything is put in one (and very big) line.
Please, use any js formatter to fix that!3 votesAvailable at 2.0.0-beta6

Improve Properties Editing
When I edit the properties for attributes, I naturally click "tab" to move to the next property for edit.
"Tab" is not working properly in such context.

Enhanced Usability
Add button into the toolbar to quickly add attributes, and/or operations. Keyboard shortcuts are not a bad idea either for such common operations.
I find myself spending a good deal of time navigating through menus for such trivial task.

There's a problem when exporting component diagram
In the component diagram, the dependency relationship is represented as half of the circumference. However, the figure is lost when exporting the diagram as JPEG or PNG file.

Add an option to print diagrams
I would be totally sweet if I could print those splendid diagrams StarUML can create...

Hide visibility legend on attributes of classes and labels on association endpoints
I edit an ISO/IEC standard and I would love to use this tool to generate the UML we use instead of Visio. However our drafting standards require that we omit the visibility legend from attributes and association labels (public, protected, private, package). If there could be a formatting option to hide these from the diagram you would save me a heck of a lot of work as I could generate a lot of the text of the standard from the XMI.

Need feature to add relationships to diagram, when relationship is already defined in model
For example:
- draw the relationship line then select already existing relationship.
- slect relationship in model browser and drop it on diagram - should show all related elements (classes, use-cases, etc).
- select element (class) then select some context menu item "add all related elements".6 votesAvailable at 2.0.0-beta6

Moving elements backwards and forwards
It would be nice if we could actually move elements to the background and foreground.
For example: I'm creating a diagram. I'm almost done.. but I would like to seperate the diagram by putting elements in some rectangles. I will drag rectangles to the playground and I would like those rectangles behind all existing elements.
At the moment a new element appears on top of others and I can't change the "z-index" ;)4 votes -
Export diagrams menu
I think there is no reason for the Export Diagram option to be on the Diagram menu. First place I went to when I wanted to export was File (there actually has an Export option there). I think only one option at this submenu would suffice (something like File > Export > Current diagram) and having the desired format selected on the save dialog. On the current menu options I'm punished for wanting to changing my mind and I even have to type the expected extension for the file or it's created without one.
I'd go as far as to…
