Interaction Overview Diagram is needed!
Interaction Overview diagram is so much similar to the Activity diagram. It lets us to see the bigger picture of the project flow and shows how several interactions work together.
It uses different interaction diagrams(Sequence, Communication, Timing) and ties them together to make a single complete picture of the interactions.
If it would be added to StarUML then I can say that StarUML has all of the necessary tools to rock n roll!

Code Generator (Java, C++/C#...)
You could, like the first version of StarUML make StarUML generate code, it was very practical !
You just have to design your diagrams and then the skeleton of your class is done :) It was a very nice feature !

Generate documentation as HTML
Would be great if StarUML could generate html documentation with screenshots of the diagrams and text documentation. It's the only thing i miss from visual paradigm, they did it really good there.

Requirements Diagram
I think that an easy and useful new feature is include a Requirements Diagram. Currently it's not possible to document the system requirements using the StarUML software. I was using the Enterprise Architect and now I'm looking for other solutions. The possibility to link the user requirements and system requirements with the Use Case is interesting to help to control the whole process.

Diagram background color
Please let us change diagram background color, which is now white. White is too aggressive for eyes in dark environment ... I would prefer to change to some greyish tone.

template bindings would be nice
This may be a feature already scheduled, but I can't think of another way to instantiate a template parameter in Star UML

For documentation purposes it would be nice to be able to import an image file into a Note.
Specifically I want a UI Screen shot.

C4 Model diagrams support
There is yet another way to model the software architecture with C4 models where C1 is a helicopter view and C4 is a class diagram zoom level (see more https://c4model.com/). Components used for C4 modelling are simple but have some notation rules.

Data Model - Show Properties "nullable", "unique" in Diagram
The Entety needs to show these properties, as it shows "PK" and "FK".
This comes very handy when:
- discussing a model based on what the people see on the diagram
- writing create-table commands based on the diagramProblem so far:

Bigger Canvas
Bigger Canvas for ER-Model and other diagram. I cannot move to the edge of the digram unless I zoom out a lot, but the edge objects become inaccessible if I use normal size(e.g. 80%).

This issue can be handled at StarUML V4 release. You can manually canvas size as described in the docs: https://docs.staruml.io/user-guide/customization#custom-diagram-canvas-size

Snap to grid
It would be nice to have a "snap to grid" option so it becomes easier to position elements next to each other.

Automatic Software Update to Newer Versions
It's really tedious having to download newer versions of my favorite UML tool just to get some bug fixes or new features, I suggest automatic program updates should be used for feature releases and bug fixes.

Fix custom types for operations
Currently I'm facing an issue which is quite annoying !
I try to make an operation like :
+GetKeys(): List<string>But StarUML won't let me do it !
It doesn't allow '<' & '>' in the typeReturn
It's problemactic to create an operation which send back a list of something :/So my generated code isn't working properly !

Ability for customization background color
We can change the diagram background color, but not the editor's background color. So, it would be perfect to add this feature.
