  1. Grid that looks elements in

Like you see in Visio elements can be used in a grid that is defined by the other elements.

  2. Internal LINK per element for MARKDOWN hyperlink references.

The markdown support per element in the "Model Explorer" a very useful feature, where we can keep analytical information about our elements.

However I noticed that I can't use the markdown link notation in order to provide direct links between the markdown text and elements that I have in the "Model Explorer".

I think it would be very useful to be able to add such multiple links in starUML's markdown support. When someone clicks on the markdown link he should be transferred either to the selected Element through "Model Explorer" either to the the proper link of the element when…

  3. allow for user-defined tags to be assigned to model elements so that you build display filters based on those tags...

Imagine being able to assigned user-defined tags to model elements and then filter those model elements in a diagram by creating an expression based upon tags. These tags could represent anything you want like subsystems, user roles, sprints, you name it. This was an ability of the old OOATool from Object International back in the late 1980's.

  4. Swim lanes to support Cross functional flowcharts

Flowchart is a basic connectors for representing the call flow. However i see the existing flowchart template is missing the concept of swim lanes.

Cross functional flowcharts use swim lanes to provide an extra dimension by assigning each process step to a category. Most often the category is a stakeholder (person, role, or department).

  5. Scalable grid size

Snapping to grid is too rough. I can't move Output pins i.e. on the half of their width. Please, make the grid size scalable

  6. Revers-engineered classes "remember" path and can be "refreshed"

Reverse-engineered classes "remember" path to source files they were re-engineered from and can be "refreshed" automatically or on demand

  7. Drop source file = reverse engeneer

Feature: If supported source file (C# interested the most) is dropped with the mouse to the model explorer or directly to class-diagram then it is automatically reverse-engineered and added to the diagram.
