Further format options for classes and associations
(Thanks for being able to hide the visibility on attributes and enpoints!)
It would be nice if you could (also) hide attribute types on classes, so all you see is the attribute name and cardinality; also I would like to hide the endpoint names and association name on an association.
These changes would help me make conceptual abstractions of a detailed model for documentation, reports and papers, and it would make my job as editor of ISO/IEC19763-13 much easier!)
Thanks

opening files from share
Currently (with v2.0.0-beta9 (2014/10/01) ) it is not possible to open files from file shares (like SharePoint WebDAV). StarUML silently does nothing, either from the file open dialog or via Windows Explorer.
This feature is very important for collaboration3 votes -

If diagram has big size the best manner of navigation is mouse handlers - when mouse pointer leave the document screen then in this direction view is moving, customer can navigate in horizontal or vertical direction or both by only move mouse

Portrait mode
My Windows desktop is Portrait mode, with 1080x1920 resolution. But the Explorer, Editors, Properties, Documentation panels are docked in the east side, the center workspace is very narrow. I suggest the tool panels can be dragged to other places.

Moving association labels and multiplicities with the cursor keys
While <ctrl><arrow key> can be used to position classes in a class diagram, I can't use it to precisely position association names, endpoint labels or multiplicities. It would help me to get tidy diagrams if this were possible

Can alignment also align association labels and multiplicities as well as classes?
It's great that we can align classes to make the diagram tidy, but its a pain arranging the association labels and multiplicities to get the diagram really tidy

Provide a configurable table view
Many business focused tools provide a way to view elements within a table presentation. The uses would be to view lists of items, with customized columns that are populated based on a configured relationship you want to view. For example, the list would be Use Cases and a column could be to show any actor that has an association to the use case. A second column would be any activity that is related to the use case, and so on.
The second use would be as a matrix. If you want to view rows of configured elements vs columns of…

Make tools windows dockable, so that I could move them to my second display.
Multi-display setups are common this days, and it's a pity that I cannot detach tools and place them on my second display to get more room for diagram on my main display.

Export zoom
We can zoom in or out of a diagram while using the app but when exporting the zoom of the diagram is fixed. One should be able to define a zoom to render diagrams when exporting in order to produce better quality images that could be used in documents and presentations.

Add access keys to the menus
The menus are difficult to navigate without access keys. I regularly use Alt+F to get to the File menu but since there's also a Format menu and neither have an access key it gets me nowhere. Very annoying.

Extended modeling based on uml
The possibility to make models based on uml, like UWE or Rational Rose, or others. Extensions to StarUML to make those would be great, it would enhance the power of the software.

Exporting to 1.x version or saving to .uml for compatibility with lower version
I'm happy that StartUML2 can import the format of lower version with .uml extension.
But it will be great if it supports the feature exporting to lower version.Running StarUML in mac is very comfortable and Great !!!

Grid that looks elements in
Like you see in Visio elements can be used in a grid that is defined by the other elements.

allow for user-defined tags to be assigned to model elements so that you build display filters based on those tags...
Imagine being able to assigned user-defined tags to model elements and then filter those model elements in a diagram by creating an expression based upon tags. These tags could represent anything you want like subsystems, user roles, sprints, you name it. This was an ability of the old OOATool from Object International back in the late 1980's.

Swim lanes to support Cross functional flowcharts
Flowchart is a basic connectors for representing the call flow. However i see the existing flowchart template is missing the concept of swim lanes.
Cross functional flowcharts use swim lanes to provide an extra dimension by assigning each process step to a category. Most often the category is a stakeholder (person, role, or department).

Snapping to grid is too rough. I can't move Output pins i.e. on the half of their width. Please, make the grid size scalable

Drop source file = reverse engeneer
Feature: If supported source file (C# interested the most) is dropped with the mouse to the model explorer or directly to class-diagram then it is automatically reverse-engineered and added to the diagram.
