  4. Add F2 for 'in-place' rename at least in Model Explorer

    Add F2 for 'in-place' rename at least in Model Explorer.

    Use case:
    - Bob wants to rename element MyFirstClass in the model explorer
    - Bob browse for MyFirstClass element in the Model Explorer
    - Bob press F2 when on the MyFirstClass and in-place renames that element to MySecondClass

  5. Add "Paste" to right click menu. When in a mouse mode, it would be nice to not have to press Ctrl-V to paste e.g. an attribute name.

    We should be able to, for example, double-click on "Attribute1" to select it, then right-click to paste from keyboard. It is possible to paste using Ctrl-V, but doing that many times gets annoying.

  7. Edition dialog does not allow simple creation of UML state transitions

    State diagram transitions, as you well know, are in the format:

    Event [predicate] / actionlist

    However, the edition dialog does not appear to make evident that simplicity, but offers, among others, the following entries:

    • name
    • guard

    This is not identical to EVENT [pred] / ACTION LIST that I would expect to see.

    Perhaps I misunderstood how starUML creates UML2 compliant transitions?

  8. Support Q_OBJECT for Qt based C++ project

    I'm using Qt framework for GUI layer with some pure C++ projects.
    StarUML is really nice tools for investigate the software design however current version of this is not support Q_OBJECT in Qt based header file.
    The result for Qt based header files, there is no class name in the class 'box' on StarUML.

  9. Double click to resize app window to fit screen (MacOS)

    Most apps on the Mac use double click above the toolbar (the bar containing the Close, Minimize and Maximize icons on the left) to resize the app to fit the screen. This would be very useful since the app always starts as a partial screen. Automatically fit the app to the fit the screen at startup also would be an alternative solution.

  11. fix problem which causes first attempt to open another model to fail

    Currently attempt to open another model fails almost every time in error (OSX). Only indication of that is a quick error message which is shown just briefly and easy to miss. After failure StartUML opens previous model which could lead to loss of data if user doesn't notice it. Second attempt to open the model works always.

  16. add a preference option to default Auto Resize on

    I literally select ever class and interface and enable this option. Would love if I could configure this to just be on by default when I create new class or interface elements.

  18. Automated testing tool for StarUML Class Diagram

    Is there any automated testing tool for StarUML Class Diagram. I want to test all criteria of class diagram from .mdj file. It will test that the .mdj file we have is valid or not before we generate OpenAPI Schema from this extension

    1. First install this plugin to StarUML.
    2. Then, Open Class Diagram file .mdj (Example : SampleModel.mdj) in StarUML
    3. Then, It will generate OpenAPI specification from StarUML Tools->OpenAPI->Generate API
    4. Then, Select Package (Example : Movements package )
    5. Select file type that you want to generate

    So i want to make a test which will examine that .mdj file…
