Add a URL link to a class
With a HTML link per class that is exported with SVG one could navigate easily to a class within a doxygen HTML documentation.
This feature would be very easy to implement.11 votes -
Allow to collapse all items inside of the explorer
Currently in the explorer window you need to click each single item in order to collapse all of them. Would be great to allow collapse items inside of the parent node or all of the items currently displayed inside of the explorer view.

More default options
Let us select "Word Wrap" as default option for new diagrams. I use it a lot.
It is also, be awesome, if you let us create our own color palettes to define own styling for diagram elements. Default colours are not sufficient in every case.

Simplify interface insertion
Interfaces are awkward to place in a model.
You have to place the round-end first and then haphazardly try to connect to it with an association. It would be far better to simply plus the whole lollypop in one go.

Allow multiple Windows on the same model in StarUML
It would be fantastic to have the capability to watch diagrams in different windows on the same model. E.g. one is editing a sequence diagram whilst having an object model diagram open in another window on anther screen. It is annoying to jump between models within a MDI windows when having multiple screens available.

To display user defined constraints within class diagrams
It ist possible to add user defined constraints to classes and to attributes. It would pay off if those constraint could be displayed in the same way as predefined constraints such as "isUnique", "isID" etc.
It would be even better, if displaying constraints could be enable and disabled: "Show Constraints" (like "Show Type") or "Supress Constraints" (like "Suppress Attributes").

Using non alphanumeric characters in element names like . , - ( ) etc.
Currently I can place a dot or colon or other non alphanumeric character in the name of the element only if I edit the name in the properties window but not in the editor interface. I would like to enter these in the editor.

provide a way to do a visual diff between two files
Given the current staruml file and another, show what is different in the current vs the other file. The idea is for developers to know what changed in the design when an edit is uploaded. We could use the older version from our repository to do the diff. Alternatively, staruml could make a local history store or integrate with version control to provide that diff.

Include multiplicity representation when generating code from class diagram in v5
In StarUML v4 if two classes had an association with 0..* multiplicity on an end, the code generated from that class diagram represent that relationship with either an array or vector or list based on the programming language. The new version v5 is not doing this. We need that feature back

Support Arch Linux Installer
Since your team has added an Ubuntu installer, it would be helpful to support other popular distros that are not directly compatible with the DPKG route.
Please add a PacMan installer for the Arch crowd.
Thanks!

Ability to import an icon set/font like FontAwesome or an image for use as objects in the editor.
Some things may be better expressed through images or different icons. This may even need the addition of a sort of "sandbox" diagram where anything goes.
