  1. More control on the details of the HTML Report generation

    Add more control on the details of the generated HTML report.
    Not all stakeholder are interested on all the details ...
    Some may need only outlines, description and diagrams
    while others may want to see all the details
    and there are others in between.
    Giving control over the details of the generated report will help to satisfy all stakeholders types.

  2. Short cuts to open any sub-diagram

    Problem Statement:
    Any entity in a model can be lot of diagrams in it. E.g a use-case realization can have activity diagram, sequence diagram etc. each of these diagram can again have sub-diagrams and so on.

    Now to view the sub-diagrams, we have to right-click -> select in explorer -> then navigate to the corresponding diagram

    when we click on any entity in the UML model, if there is a sub-diagram included previously for it, then it will be good to show that in the short cut menu. IBM Rational provides such a support.

  3. Transform a class diagram to a usecase diagram in both ways

    Hi dear StarUML team, I need class diagrams but
    also I need usecase diagrams, I wonder if any
    could make a extension that could make this.

    I know that it´s hard but think about the users
    that could love this asewome idea :D, send me a email

  4. Node.js

    Node.js extension. Does this presently exist? I suspect that developing a Node.js extension for StarUML is straightforward, but I am new to the product.

  10. ER Extra Entities and Column Properties

    It would be good to have a couple of extra properties per entity and column

    Entity : Tablespace & Trigger Name ( and action )
    Entity : Specific type (like column and tag ) for index, this can then be named and columns within the entity can be added
    Column : Property specifically for data validation rules

  13. Change license verification/validation system

    License validation is a tricky thing, the last thing you want is users figuring out a way of getting your software for free.

    You might not be aware of the following gist which proposes a very simple way of "cracking" the validation system : https://gist.github.com/trandaison/40b1d83618ae8e3d2da59df8c395093a

    This mainly uses the fact that a local javascript file is used to validate the license : which is really not a good idea.

    My request would be to switch from the usual LicenseManagerDomain.js to another validation system (maybe something in Delphi, or an external compiled program).

    It would be nice if it is visible on a UseCase component that a descriptions exists or not. A small Icon in the UseCase-Ellipse would be perfect.

  18. Two way link between Documentation and Note or Text Component

    I am working on a robustness diagram I would like the text form the use case displayed on the diagram so that if i make changes the documentation is synchronized with it. Hence if i could place a note component and the diagram and link it to the use case so that it shows the documentation. Also if i make changes in the note component the Documentation of the Use Case gets updated as well.

  19. make window dragging behavior consistent with typical MacOs applications.

    I find window position behavior very unintuitive in MacOs. I work around around it by repeatedly resizing and clicking locations at top of the frame until the window moves.
