dark theme for documents
It would be great if there is a dark theme for documents, not just for GUI. The current/default white background of document is killing my eyes when I have to stare at the monitor all day long.

BUG: Text in notes may overlap
When first line wrapped automatically and there is second line. I can't figure out why note's size doesn't change sometimes.

Open diagram as new window or resize/enlarge "thumbnail" diagrams.
Sorry if missed this, but would be nice to be able to right click on a diagram in the "Working Diagrams" list and open it in a new window or, open it in a new window pane (am using macOS StarUML version 4.1.6). Alternatively, would be good if could resize/enlarge the diagram thumbnails, so that you could see larger views of diagrams side-by-side. Cheers.

Background fill for labels
Currently labels for UML elements are drawn without possibility to add label background fill. So, when text overlaps with another diagram element it affects the text readibility. For these cases, it would be useful to be able to fill the label background with a solid color to ensure that text is always displayed against a clean background.

Extended modeling based on uml
The possibility to make models based on uml, like UWE or Rational Rose, or others. Extensions to StarUML to make those would be great, it would enhance the power of the software.

Can alignment also align association labels and multiplicities as well as classes?
It's great that we can align classes to make the diagram tidy, but its a pain arranging the association labels and multiplicities to get the diagram really tidy

Further format options for classes and associations
(Thanks for being able to hide the visibility on attributes and enpoints!)
It would be nice if you could (also) hide attribute types on classes, so all you see is the attribute name and cardinality; also I would like to hide the endpoint names and association name on an association.
These changes would help me make conceptual abstractions of a detailed model for documentation, reports and papers, and it would make my job as editor of ISO/IEC19763-13 much easier!)
Thanks

Moving association labels and multiplicities with the cursor keys
While <ctrl><arrow key> can be used to position classes in a class diagram, I can't use it to precisely position association names, endpoint labels or multiplicities. It would help me to get tidy diagrams if this were possible

"Ctrl + Y" to repeat last (formatting) action
Implementing the Microsoft Word like feature of "CTRL + Y" could be really useful, for example when filling several class elements with the same colour.

Selection only class objects without associations
In class diagram, I'd like to change colors like previous version of Star UML.
(As you know, in previous version, background of class has yellow color, outline of class has brown color, and association line has black color)
To change colors, I select all classes using Ctrl-A.
When I change the line color, the color is applied at both outline of class and association line.Could you sperate the button for changing outline of class and association line?
Or could you support another key for selection only class objects without associations?

Support for Enterprise Integration Patterns
Hello Team,
Just thought it might be great to have support for Enterprise Integration Patterns.
Please let me know if there is a way I could contribute to it.

Support for nested substates in state charts
A state diagram in UML support the notion of nested states, or submachines. In such a case a substate may transition to its superstate and vice versa. The transition is then drawn from the border of the substate to the border of the superstate (and vice versa...). Currently all transitions are drawn center to center, also between nested states...

Select objects behind others
Currently, if one object is "in front" of other, smaller one, you are not able to select it.
My suggestion is to allow selection (hit-testing) "through" objects that are empty (that is, have no fill, only outline). That way, for example, I can select a message insede a "loop" fragment in a sequence diagram1 vote -

Move items up down in explorer should retain focus
Would be helpful if when moving items up and down in the explorer using the shortcut keys focus should remain on the selected item so that subsequent moves can be achieved without needing to reselect the item again. Can be very laborious on large diagrams.
